My name is Rose. I strive to provide owners with the tools they need to build and maintain a harmonious relationship with their dog. It is of the utmost importance to me to provide effective, practical dog training that works in real life situations, achieves results and gives owners a true understanding of how to keep their dog happy and safe whilst having fun! Every person and dog is different and so my training is adaptable to the dog in front of me in order to achieve the desired results.

I believe in teaching a dog the behaviours I want repeated and rewarding the dog for the correct behaviours, to encourage and motivate them to make the right choices in the future. Dog training should be a fun and rewarding experience for both dog and owner. Knowing that the dog has been trained to understand what behaviour we like, it is important that the dog is also educated on what behaviours are unacceptable. Dogs require rules and boundaries, just as we do in human society, to help them live happily and safely with us. This ensures the dog understands what is acceptable and what is unacceptable behaviour. It is my belief and experience that to simply ignore or attempt to distract from unwanted behaviours is not only ineffective in the vast majority of cases, but also unclear and unfair on the dog.

I have trained with leading canine behavioural trainer Robert Alleyne, completing his Pet Dog Training Instructor's Course and I am proud to have been a resident instructor at his renowned training classes in South East London.

I am also a member and trainer at the Canine Instructor Academy and have been awarded a diploma in Canine Behaviour and Training.

I have studied gundog training with Claire and John Denyer of Family Dog Services.

I am also a signatory of The Registration Council for Dog Training and Behaviour Practitioners (RCDTBP) and I have achieved Excellence in Introductory Instructing Skills Award through PDTI.

I continue to attend seminars and workshops as part of my professional development and ongoing education.

Clear communication between trainer and owner is paramount in the success of training your dog and I draw on my experience of over 15 years of teaching and coaching people to ensure that my training is clear and the principles are understood.

I am fully insured and hold a Dog First Aid certificate.
