Classes

All Companion Dog Solutions dog training classes are designed to be both fun and informative! My aim is to help owners achieve their goals and set their dogs up for success. As you and your dog progress through the course, the dog training exercises become more challenging to help proof your dog’s understanding and prepare you both for real life scenarios. As well as practical dog and puppy training, during these courses we also take time to discuss other aspects of responsible dog ownership, such as diet, neutering, appropriate socialisation and more. Class numbers are limited to a maximum of four - six dogs per class to ensure everyone receives sufficient attention and feedback. As a dog trainer, I am really teaching owners how to train their dogs and I pride myself on maintaining clear and empathetic communication with my clients to help everybody get the best of out their dogs.

Life Skills Course

Friday mornings outdoors at a private field in Warninglid, Haywards Heath

Monday evenings indoors at The Old School, Cuckfield, Haywards Heath

These classes are a great way of not only training your dog in areas of basic obedience training but also to encourage calm behaviour and focus on you in the presence of other dogs and people and build a great relationship.

Classes cover essential areas of training:

Walking on a loose lead
Recall (Come when called)
Leave
Not jumping up
Accepting handling
Play
Stay

Clients are invitied to join a private Facebook group during the course which provides extra training tips, instructional videos, class plans, homework and ongoing support between classes.

The course runs for eight weeks and costs £160. Payment is due before the first class/on securing your place. Class places are limtied, so please book early to secure your place.

*Classes are not suitable for dogs who have aggression issues or are excessively vocal towards other dogs.

Pet Gundog Classes

Fortnightly classes at a private field in Warninglid

Whether you aim to go on to work your dog or train as a hobby to tap into your pet dog's natural instincts, group gundog training classes of beginner level and upwards are designed to first of all introduce your gundog breed (or mix) to gundog training, giving you and your dog a solid foundation in the basic skillsets required, and then progress onto more advanced skills.

Class numbers are limited to a maximum of four dogs per class to ensure everyone receives sufficient attention and feedback.

Clients are invitied to join a private Facebook group during the course which provides class plans, homework, instructional videos and ongoing support between classes.

Each course consists of eight classes, run fortnightly to ensure that each dog and handler have sufficient time to train and progress between classes.
